Noel Hyun Minor
The Brooklyn Companies is led by Noel Hyun Minor. Noel is a former real estate and land use attorney. Previously, Noel was recognized as a 2018 Rising Star by Real Estate Weekly for her work as a real estate, land use, and environmental law attorney at Liner LLP and at DLA Piper, where she obtained land use entitlements and zoning approvals for major developers in complex redevelopment projects and including public-private partnerships with LA Metro and Community Redevelopment Agencies. Prior to legal practice, Noel was a registered lobbyist for the Central City Association, advocating for Downtown business interests before City, County and State leaders. Prior to that, she was a political advisor to Mayor Eric Garcetti both inside City Hall and during his 2013 mayoral campaign.
In her free time, Noel serves on the board of Altadena Town & Country Club. She was elected to the board in March 2025 in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire to focus on recovery and rebuilding efforts. Noel previously served local communities as Board Member of Saint Mark’s School Altadena; The Getty House Foundation; Central City Association; The Ford Theatre (now LA Philharmonic); West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation; Metro Charter Elementary School; and Downtown Works Los Angeles. She also served as Commissioner of the Los Angeles Convention and Tourism Development Board; and member of the City of Los Angeles Zoning Advisory Committee, under Mayor Eric Garcetti.
